Peel the banana skin, cut into 1/2 inch cubes and put it in water.

Place a kadai in the stove. Switch on the flame. Add oil.

Once oil gets heat, add mustard seeds and asafoetida. Let the mustard seeds splutter.

Then add onions and curry leaves. Saute till onions becomes translucent.

Add tomatoes and turmeric powder. Keep the flame in medium and saute till tomatoes becomes mushy.

Then add banana cubes, sambar powder and salt. Mix well and add water.

Cover and cook in medium flame till the bananas gets cooked. Don't add too much water because bananas will become mushy.

Now it's ready to serve. Serve it as a Sidedish for your lunch.
