It contains dietary fibres so help in improving digestive health, help in bloating, constipation.

So it must include in diet-here I have added lots of veggies so this roti turns into power packed meal.

Ingredients

15-20 minutes
5no. of roti prepared from this measurements
  • 1 cupsorgum (jowar) flour
  • 1/4 cupfinely chopped cabbage
  • 1/2small carrot grated
  • 1small tomato finely chopped
  • 1/2capsicum finely chopped
  • 2green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1small cucumber grated
  • 2-3 tbspfinely chopped coriander
  • 1 inchginger grated
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  • As per taste Salt
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 2-3 tbspoil

Steps

15-20 minutes
  1. 1

    In a bowl take all the vegetables.

    Add all the spices, flour and knead a soft dough by using required quantity of water.

    Take wet kitchen towel - wet your finger, take medium ball size dough and start spreading on cloths and prepare medium thick roti.

    Transfer this roti on hot tawa carefully-spread little oil.

    Turn the sides after couple of minutes and brush little oil on another sides.

    Cook from the both the sides until nice golden spots on both the sides.

    Yummy delicious masala jowar roti is ready to enjoy- serve it with curd and pickle. There is no need of any curry along with this as it is full of vegetables.
