Steam the amla.

Remove the seeds and separate the cloves.

Heat oil and add mustard seeds with jeera let it splutter.

Now add asafoetida steamed amla garlic cloves salt red chilli powder pickle masala and give it a mix.

The pickle is ready to eat and it gets more flavourful after 24 to 48 hours.

Pickle masala can be made at home also.

Ingredients for pickle masala.

Salt 200 gms,Dry roast fennel seeds (saunf) half cup,methi seeds 5 tbsp,yellow mustard half cup,black pepper one tbsp.

Now add turmeric powder 6 tsp,red chilli flakes 4 tbsp,degi mirch powder one tbsp and one tsp Hing.

Grind this powder coarsely and keep for future use.
