In a heavy sufuria put water and sugar bring to a boil until it thickens.

If you want color you add a pinch in the mixture.

Put in the coconut and pinch of cardamon powder and stir.

Continuously stir to avoid sticking on the sufuria.

Stir until it sort of clumps together.

Put on a greased pan and pat down with a buttered spoon.

Let it cool slightly and cut into pieces.

Let it completely cool and store in an airtight container.
