Mathura ke Dubki Aloo
Steps
- 1
Take green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, black cardamom, black pepper in a blender and blend coarsely. Now add chopped ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves, spinach leaves, dry mango, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and Chaat Masala. Blend all and make a paste.
- 2
Take the boiled potatoes, peel and mashed them. Let’s add the spice paste which we had prepared in the above step. Mix it well and now it is ready to give them a flavour.
- 3
Transfer prepared potatoes in a pan, add 4 cups of water and boil it nicely for half an hour on a high flame. After boiling, it should look bit thick and smells aeromatic.
- 4
Let’s move on preparing the tempering. Take oil in a pan, make it hot and then add cumin seeds when the seeds begin to crackle, add dry red chilli and transfer this Tadka into the thick gravy potatoes that we we prepared in the above step. Now Dubki Potatoes are ready to serve. Enjoy the different taste of spices
