Ingredients

  • 1/2 cuptamarind
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup jaggery
  • 1 cupwater
  • 1 spoondry ginger powder
  • 1 spoon ginger paste
  • 1 spoondry roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 spoonwhite salt (regular)
  • 1 spoonred chilli powder
  • 1/2 spoongaram masala powder
  • 2Dates (finely chopped)
  • 8-10Raisins
  • 1 spoonBlack salt

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl take termariand & 1 cup lukewarm water (let it be like that for 2 hours).

  2. 2

    After 2 hours take tarmarind pulp in a wok add water & sugar (cook till sugar dissolves).

  3. 3

    Now add all slices one by one and mix well.

  4. 4

    Mix dates and raisins and cook it for 5-7 min.Turn off the flame.Chutney is ready.

    Keep in a bowl and put it in containor and keep it in the fridge.

  6. 6

    Enjoy with chats. Thank you.
