Knead the dough by mixing all the ingredients

Let it rest for 10mins

In a big pan add sugar & water.

Stir for a while then add cardamom powder and colour

Let the sugar melt and bring it to a boil

Cook it for around 5mins and switch off the flame

Knead the dough again and divide into small portion

Take one portion and roll and roll between your palms & make rounds by making a hole in between.

Fry in hot oil on low to medium flame.

Fry till they become golden brown in colour

Then put directly into sugar syrup.

Do not cover the pot*

Let the fried rounds dip in sugar syrup for 5-10mins

After 10mins remove balushahi from sugar syrup on a plate

Put chopped pistachios for garnishing..serve and enjoy
