In a big bowl, whisk together yogurt, turmeric, red chili, and garam masala.

Add chicken to it, mix evenly and marinate for 10 minutes (if you can, marinate it for longer or overnight).

Heat oil+ghee, add all the whole spices and let them crackle on low heat for half a minute.

Now, add chopped onions and saute till they turn light pink (about 3-4 minutes). Add ginger garlic paste

After some time put the marinated chicken and keep cooking for twenty minutes with the lid closed

Crush kasoori methi leaves and give. Keep cooking till it is done

Garnish with cream and serve
