First wash prawns with 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, a pinch of salt. Twice or thrice. Take out thre black ribbon from the prawns. Then marinate the prawns with turmeric powder, salt and 1/2 tsp oil. Mix.....properly and keep aside for 1/2 an hrs. Heat oil in kadai. Fry prawns for few minutes. After frying keep aside in a bowl.

In the same kadai. Heat 1 tsp oil. Add 1 tsp cumin seeds, 2 cardamon, 1" cinnamon stick, 1 bay leaf and 2 cloves fry for few minutes. Then add 1 chopped onion. Saute it for few minutes. Add basmati rice and cook for few minutes.

Add turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilly powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp 2 green chilly, 1" ginger and 4 garlic cloves grind it and make a paste. Saute it for few minutes. Add fried prawns mix it well. Add salt and mix...well

Add water as needed. Cover and cook till the prawns become tender and the rice cook well. Check in between. When it is become dry. Add 1/2 tsp garam masala and 1 tsp ghee. Cover it so that the garam masala and ghee flavour will be their in the borayani. Then garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Immediately serve hot.........................prawns biryani with salad or raita. It is your choice.
