I’m going to show how to cook Japanese rice using a pan. If you have a rice cooker, no problem don’t you?
Steps

Rinse the rice with running water quickly. Pour out water. Like pushing the rice by the bottom of your palm with a little water gently and rinse it. Repeat this a couple times. Not just rinse but polishing the rice.

Drain the rice and leave for 10 minutes. Put it in a pan with lid and pour water in. Soak for 30 minutes. Cook the rice at high heat, bring to the boil. No salt, though.

Reduce the heat, cook until the rice absorbs water and then remove from heat. This is very important part, leave for 15 minutes. Time is vary depending the rice and season. Enjoy your Japanese style rice.
