Khatti Meethi Khajur ki Chutney

Khatti Meethi Khajur ki Chutney
Steps
- 1
Deseed the dates, chop aam papad into small pieces.
- 2
Soak tamarind in water for 10-15 mins. Squeeze the pulp. Strain and keep aside.
- 3
Now grind dates, raisins and aam papad together, add little water and make a smooth paste. Strain the pulp to get a smooth paste.
- 4
Now take a pan add oil, then add cumin seeds and allow it to crackle. Once it crackles, add the paste and keep mixing well.
- 5
Add all the dry spices, then add the tamarind paste. If needed add little sugar/jaggery as per your taste.
- 6
Once it gets thick, switch off the flame and allow it to cool. We love thick chutney you can add little more water to get a thinner one.
