No oil no onion PIZZA SAUCE with fresh herbs

I don’t tolerate onions so I’ve learned to cook without them and I usually leave out garlic too because although it’s easier for me it still makes me tired. If you are missing that garlic flavor add some garlic powder to the sauce as well.

This pizza sauce with fresh herbs is flavorful even without and very low fat. It’s also quick to make in one pot with easy cleanup, no chopping onions and smelling up your kitchen either. #lowfat and #oilfree

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 18 ozdiced or crushed tomatoes
  2. 1 tablespoonchopped fresh basil
  3. 1 teaspoonchopped fresh oregano
  4. 1small thyme sprig
  5. 1/4 teaspoonchopped fresh rosemary
  6. 1 teaspoonpaprika
  7. 1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt
  8. 1/4 teaspoongarlic powder (optional)

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Pour approximately 18 ounces crushed or diced tomatoes in a pot.

    Finely chop basil, oregano and rosemary. Slide your fingernails along the thyme stem to remove the leaves. Add all fresh herbs, paprika, salt and garlic powder (optional) to the pot.

    Simmer on low for 10 minutes.

    Spread on pizza crust, add toppings and bake at 425 degrees F. 15-18 minutes.

- Mostly whole food ingredients- Low fat (I have gallbladder issues)- No onions, shallots, etc (they give me migraines)- Rarely use sugar- Rarely use oil- Single or double servings- I try to use locally sourced ingredients
