Homemade bread

Bread is not really my thing because am very selective when it comes to bread. Believe when i say you gonna hate the way i eat bread because i will make sure i peel off all the skin leaving behind the top crust n inner part😃. It's a waste of income to me but making a home-made and knowing the ingredient that go in and adding the ingredients to your preference just make things PERFECT!!!

Place yeast and sugar in a small bowl, pour warm water over yeast and let sit for 10 min until nice and bubbly

Sift flour in a larger bowl, add the remaining sugar, salt and mix all together

Make a well in the flour, pour the bubbled yeast mixture

Add the beaten egg and milk

Stir, mix and knead

Place the sticky dough on a floured counter, message in butter, knead and add more flour until dough is no longer sticky but soft and elastic.

Transfer the dough ball into a greased bowl. Cover and keep in warm place to rise for about an hour

Punch down the risen dough

Place in a floured surface and knead for 2-3 min

Cut the dough ball into two and roll into a ball or rectangle if using a loaf pan and tuck the end. I used a round pan instead

Transfer the dough to a greased pan, cover and let it rise again. Egg wash the surface of the risen dough

Preheat oven and bake for 25min.when the bread is done, coat the surface with melted butter.

Remove onto a cooling rack and enjoy!
