Peel and wash the tomatoes thoroughly, then roast them on a griddle, being careful not to over-roast as they can become bitter.

Remove the seeds from the chilies and roast them for a few seconds on each side, ensuring they don't burn, as this can also make them bitter.

Brown the steak and season it with Maggi seasoning sauce and salt.

While the steak is browning, blend the tomatoes with the chilies, garlic, and a little water.

Strain the chili mixture and pour it over the steak.

Season with salt and let it simmer.

Once done, serve it with your choice of rice, warm tortillas fresh off the griddle, and flavored water. I made plum-flavored water.
