Hibiscus tea is not only tasty but it has many many medicinal properties. It helps in lowering blood pressure, lowering cholesterol, anti oxidant, anti cancer, enhances liver functions, weight reduction etc. I did not knew the properties of hibiscus earlier when I was in Pakistan. When I moved to middle east I found that almost every household use hibiscus in different forms. It is not only famous in middle east but also famous in African countries as well.
I was so astonished to see that hibiscus is the flower which is found very commonly in Pakistan as well we called it China rose. Almost every other house has these flowers in their garden. These red China roses has that much medicinal effects we are not aware of it completely. I tried it myself for high blood pressure which helped me a lot. One small cup in a day is enough for blood pressure control. It taste quite sour so you can manage by different ways you like.
(Note):People who are suffering from low blood pressure should avoid it.
