Steps

1 & half hours
  1. 1

Take a large bowl, add maida, powdered sugar, elaichi powder and mix everything well. Now add ghee and make it into a soft dough. Now cover the dough & keep it in refrigerator for about 8 to 10 mins.

  2. 2

Now in 2 different bowls add dark chocolate compound and white chocolate compound seperately. Melt them separately using double-boiler method.

  3. 3

Let it cool down a bit then add them into two separate piping bags. Now take a alluminium foil or flat plastic. Now with melted white-chocolate, make small circles (like choco-chips). Keep the sheet in a freezer for 5 mins to set. Now with dark-chocolate, make small dots over white. Keep it in a freezer for 5 mins., to set again. Now remove it from the freezer & remove all the scary eyes from the sheet & keep them aside into the freezer again.

  4. 4

Now let's come to the cookie-making. Don't forget to remove the dough after 10 mins. Just mix the dough well again. Now take a kadai with some salt covering it's base. Keep a stand over it & cover the kadai & pre-heat for 3 mins on high flame & 5 mins on medium flame.

  5. 5

Till the time it's pre-heating, just grease a steel plate with some oil/ghee, make small pedas out of it & slightly press them & place them over the plate. After 8 mins of pre-heating, open the lid and place the plate over the stand. Cover the lid again & bake it on a low flame for about 25 to 30 mins.

  6. 6

Till the time it's baking, let's make the spiders, For 6 cookies, I am taking 6 pieces of nutties balls. Now remove the eyes from the freezer. Put a drop of melted chocolate compound (any) and stick them to the nutties-balls, as shown in the image. Make 2 eyes for one nutties-ball. Repeat the same with the rest. Now keep the spiders carefully in the freezer.

  7. 7

After 30 mins of baking, switch off the flame. Let them cool down completely, then remove the spider and again apply a drop of melted chocolate behind the spiders and stick them. Repeat the same with the rest. Now with the melted dark chocolate, which you have filled in the piping bag, make legs out of it, as shown in the image below.
