  1. 2boiled medium beetroots
  2. 1onion chopped
  3. 1 tspchopped ginger
  4. 6-7curry leaves
  5. 1 tbspground nuts, roasted
  6. 2dry red chillies
  7. 1/2 tspchana dal
  8. 1 tspurad dal
  9. 2 tbspdry coconut powder
  10. 1/2 tspchaat masala
  11. 1 tbspcoconut oil
  12. 1/2 tspmustard and cumin seeds
  13. 1/5 tspturmeric powder
  14. Salt as required

    Arrange the required ingredients.

    Heat oil in a kadhai. Add mustard, cumin seeds, chana dal, urad dal, red chillies and curry leaves and saute on low flame till aroma comes and dal changes colour.

    Add crushed groundnut and saute for a minute.

    Add onion and ginger and fry them till raw smell goes.

    Mix chopped beetroot, salt and turmeric powder. Cook in medium heat for a minute. Add dry coconut powder, chaat masala and saute on high heat to dry remaining water in the subzi.
