Steps

Preheat oven to 180c.

In a bowl coat the apples well in the caster sugar then pour them into a medium deep baking dish.

In another bowl mix the oats, flour, cinnamon, brown and golden caster sugar together then using your fingers rub together the dry ingredients with the butter until it resembles corse breadcrumbs.

Spread the crumble mixture over the apples then pat down to spread out evenly.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow to rest for 20 minutes before serving. Serve warm with custard or cream.
