I used to always buy cold cuts at the supermarket until I realized how little meat they actually contained and... how easy it is to make them at home!
Steps
- 1
First of all, I used curry and it turned out amazing, but you can also use paprika, pepper, cumin, garlic powder, oregano, thyme...
- 2
In a container or bowl that can be covered, mix the olive oil, salt, and spices. The amounts are a bit by eye, so if it seems too thick, you can add a bit more oil and vice versa.
- 3
Place the whole breast in the mixture and coat it well. Cover and let it rest in the fridge to marinate. Ideally, leave it overnight, but if not, 3-6 hours will do the trick.
- 4
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Meanwhile, place the breast in a glass or clay dish and microwave on high for 5 minutes.
- 5
Bake for a few minutes (about 4). It will depend on the size of your breast.
- 6
Let it cool and slice. I used a fork or meat hook to hold the breast and a sharp knife, but if you have a slicer,
- 7
Serve with toast, in sandwiches, in salads... and with anything else you like 😋
