Most people love fries because they are simply easy to make and they make you fuller for a long time especially on a busy schedule or day.

Most people love fries because they are simply easy to make and they make you fuller for a long time especially on a busy schedule or day.
Steps

Peel your potatoes, wash them well and then slice in to thin peices. Put them in warm water for about 5 minutes to soften them and to make them cook better.

In a clean bowl,put some salt, tumeric and garam masala (a pinch of each). Mix well with the potatoes then using a clean dry towel to dry off any water in the potatoes.

Heat your oil, like one cup of oil in a cooking pan, let it heat well and then use one piece of potato to test if the oil is ready to cook.

Put your potatoes in the pan to cook. Be careful to avoid splashing of oil or burns. Let them cook for about ten minutes then check if they are crispy and well cooked.

The smokies can be shallow fried or deep fried using the same oil you used to make the fries for about 5 minutes.

Serve the fries with smokies, together with some vegetable salads of your choice. I love cabbage, carrots and mayonnaise salad.
