Ingredients

  1. 1 cupBesan
  2. 2Onions, medium
  3. 5-6Garlic cloves
  4. 1/2 inchGinger
  5. 2Green chillies
  6. 1 tspBlack peppercorns
  7. 8-9Methi seeds
  8. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  9. 2 tspCoriander powder
  10. 1 tspGaram Masala powder
  11. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  12. 3 tbspMustard oil
  13. As per tasteSalt
  14. As per tasteWater

Steps

    Take a pan add besan, salt and red chilli powder to it and mix it well.

  2. 2

    Add little water to it and cook it on low flame till it forms a dough shape. Period, make sure the dough is not too hard.

    Grease a plate with some oil.

  4. 4

    Add the dough to the plate and spread it evenly. Let it cool down and then cut cubes as per your choice.

  5. 5

    Add oil to the pan and heat it.

  6. 6

    Now add besan cubes to it and fry till it turns golden brown.

  7. 7

    Add onion, ginger, garlic, black peppercorns, green chillies to a jar and make a paste.

  8. 8

    Once the oil is warm, add methi seeds and onion-garlic paste to it and cook it for 2 mins.

  9. 9

    Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt, mix it well and cook it on medium flame for another 5 mins or till the oil separates.

    Now add fried besan cubes to it and mix it well and cook for 1 min.

  11. 11

    Add water for gravy as per choice.

    Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

    Our tasty dish is ready to serve.
