Banana stem is well known for its benefits. One of the high fiber content vegetable and easy in cooking as well. Those who are in diet and try to eat very minimal quantity during dinner, banana stem dalcha is the right choice.

Chopped the banana stem. Then wash the yellow lentils. Then in a cooker cooked lentils with water, chopped banana stem, salt and one green chilli.

Once cooker give 1 whistle, then switch off the flame. Sort the ingredients and smashed the garlic.

Then in a pan add oil. Once it heat, add smashed garlic, red and green chilli. Then add the cooked lentils. Now add the coriander and turmeric powder. Let it cooked for another 5 to 7 minutes. If require and bit of water and salt.

Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
