Bhaji (mixed vegetables gravy)

This is my favourite weekend recipe when I feel like having street food at home.The pav bhaji is a famous Maharastrian dish.The bhaji is easy to prepare and can be made with the vegetables available at home.Kids just love it.It can be made in about 30 minutes.

This is my favourite weekend recipe when I feel like having street food at home.The pav bhaji is a famous Maharastrian dish.The bhaji is easy to prepare and can be made with the vegetables available at home.Kids just love it.It can be made in about 30 minutes.

Take all the mixed vegetables in a cooker, add little water, and cook for about three whistles. Once cooled, mash the vegetables with a potato masher.

Keep the boiled vegetables along with other ingredients to start making the bhaji.

Now, take a deep bottom vessel, add butter, jeera, onion, and cook till onion just begins to get light brown color, then add ginger garlic paste. Cook till its raw smell goes, after that add turmeric powder red chili powder, pav bhaji masala, cook till the raw smell of masala goes. Then add tomatoes and capsicum, cook it covered till they are cooked.

Once cooked, add boiled vegetables and salt along with little water to check the consistency of the gravy. You can add more masala if you want it spicier. Add the juice of a lemon and garnish with coriander leaves and butter on top. Tasty bhaji is ready.
