Wash & grate coconut & set aside, in a pan add the sugar & water then keep stirring until it melts then add in the grated coconut continue stirring from time to time until it turns golden brown as seen here then off the heat.

Note: i used water because i dont want it to be too sticky or too dark but you can do it like that with out water.
