Ingredients

15 minutes
2 -3 Servings
  1. 10-12big sized Mirchi
  2. 1/2 cupBesan/gram flour
  3. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  4. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  5. to taste Salt
  6. 1/4 tspajwain/carom seeds
  7. as neededOil for deep frying
  8. Stuffing
  9. to Salt
  10. 1/2 tspAmchur(dry mango) powder
  11. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  12. 1 tspCoriander powder
  13. 1 pinchhing/asafoetida

Cooking Instructions

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Take a bowl mix the ingredients of stuffing.

  2. 2

    Wash Mirchi. Make Lengthwise slits in all Mirchi. Remove the seeds. Fill stuffing in it.

    In a mixing bowl add besan, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and ajwain. Mix it well. Add water and make batter. I don’t like thick layer of besan so I make little thin batter.

    Heat oil in a wok. Dip the Mirchi in besan batter.

  5. 5

    Carefully leave it in oil. Deep fry it on medium flame till it becomes crispy.

    Serve it with tomato chutney or any sauce.
