Dal Palak

Chop the tomatoes, green chilli, ginger and garlic into small pieces.

In a pressure cooker add soaked dal, palak, turmeric powder, salt and 3 cup Water. Pressure cook it for 3-4 whistles.

Take a wok heat oil. Add cumin seeds and hing. Saute for seconds. Add chopped tomatoes, chilli, ginger and garlic. Saute it for 3-4 minutes or till tomatoes become soft on low heat.Add red chilli powder and garam masala. Add 1-2 tsp water if required.

Add boiled dal. Mix it well. Simmer it for 2-3 minutes. Dal Palak is ready.

Serve hot with rice and chapati.
