1 sheetpuff pastry
4apples
1 1/4 cupshalf-and-half or light cream (about 300 ml)
2 tablespoonspeanut butter
1egg
1 packetvanilla sugar (about 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar or 2 teaspoons sugar plus 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract)

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Unroll the puff pastry and line a tart pan with it.

Peel and cut the apples into cubes. Arrange them over the pastry.

In a mixing bowl, whisk the cream with the vanilla sugar, then add the peanut butter and the egg.

Pour this mixture over the apples and bake for 30 minutes.

Dust with powdered sugar or brush with jam, and enjoy warm.
