Fry the beef and bacon (I brown the bacon in a separate pan to get it nice and crispy) with a little salt and pepper.

Blend the tomatillos, 1/3 of the onion, cilantro, garlic, and beef bouillon cube with a little water, then add this mixture to the meat.

Add the green onions, add more water if needed, adjust the salt, and let simmer for about 30 minutes so the meat releases its flavors.

Serve with cooked pinto beans, chopped onion, green chili, lime, and avocado.
