Dry roast the whole wheat flour and chickpea flour separately in the kadai one after the other.

In the same kadai add watermelon rind puree and let it cook for 15-20 minutes, when almost all water has evaporated add the grated mawa and give it a good mix and cook for 5-10 minutes, then add ghee and saffron and nuts and cook it for 5 minutes then add the Cardamom powder, both the roasted flours and mix well so that there are no lumps. Now the halwa starts thickening, add the milk, now keep on stirring as chances of sticking to the bottom is more.

After 5 minutes add Jaggery and give it a thorough mix. Once the Jaggery melts cook the halwa till ghee starts oozing our and you get a nice aroma (may be about 10 minutes). Your halwa is ready. Enjoy.
