Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cook the bacon bits until they are golden brown. Do not add any extra fat.

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and heavy cream. Add salt (if the bacon is unsalted) and pepper.

Place the puff pastry sheet in a pie dish and prick it with a fork. Then add the Gruyère cheese (optional if you don't like it). 😋

Add the bacon bits (avoid adding the cooking juices). Pour the egg and cream mixture on top.

Bake in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes. 😉
