Cooking Instructions

In a bowl add flour, salt, baking powder, oil mix,and water mix and form into a dough let rest for 5mins or more

Slice your ingredients....in a pot Cook your potatoes and mash using hand or Mashers as of I,I subsided with yam and same procedures goes for the yam too

In a pot add oil,add onion fry,add pepper fry add a little water to cook

Add your yam/potato stir and add taste and spices,add egg cook alittle and it's ready

Bring your dough cut into 8 balls, take a ball and flatten it using your fingers press from edges to the middle making a bowl like shape,... u can skip this step but it makes it easier for stuffing

Add a tablespoon of your stuffing into your dough press the dough edges and squeeze into making a pouch... NB:don't cut the excess squeeze it again and glue it to the dough

Using a spatula (flat spoon) or palm press gently again to flatten it, do same for the rest of the dough.....then Shallow fry at low heat till golden brown

It is worth the price.I usually bake this on a cookie sheet, but you can try making the mini sized tarts for your family as well.After baking, cut it up as soon as it is cool enough to touch.It breaks apart easily once it hardens, and you won't be to get it out of the mold.You won't need a special mold if you are making them in squares. Just line a cookie sheet with parchment paper that is raised a bit over the edge of the sheet. Squares work best if you are making lots of these.
