Cookie House For Christmas

cookpad.japan
cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp

I made this for my 15 year old daughter's Christmas party.

I bought the moulds for the cookie house at a bakery supply store.
Making the icing is a pain, so I just used white chocolate.
Someone told me that it was easy to assemble the walls if you put a heavy cream carton in the middle. I tried it and it was perfect! Remember to remove when assembled. Recipe by Naana

Steps

  1. 1

Put all the cookie dough ingredients into a food processor and mix. Chill in the fridge for an hour. Cut out the shapes and bake for 18-20 minutes at 170℃.

  2. 2

Assemble the house when the dough has cooled. I didn't use icing but used white chocolate melted in a bain marie. Decorate as you like.

  3. 3

A small snowman welcomes Santa Clause. I made the base with a tart mould.

I made the tree by colouring some of the dough green with food colouring. I bought the mini stars at the supermarket.
