Ingredients

  1. 1.5-2 lbmild italian sausage
  2. 3carrots chopped
  3. 1onion peeled and diced
  4. 4 clovesgarlic chopped
  5. 28 ozdiced or crushed tomatoes
  6. 2 canscanellini beans
  7. 1 tablespoondried basil
  8. 2 cupsshell pasta
  9. 4 qtspinach leaves chopped (12 oz)
  10. Salt pepper to taste
  11. 3 qtchicken broth (12 cups)

Cooking Instructions

    Brown sausage

  2. 2

    Add onion, garlic, carrots, cook til onion translucent

  3. 3

    Add broth, beans, tomatoes and basil and bring to a boil

  4. 4

    Add shells

  5. 5

    Simmer until shells ready

  6. 6

    Add spinach, serve with parmesan to top.
