Ingredients

  1. 48 ozbox of chicken broth
  2. 16 ozcan kidney beans
  3. 1 cupchopped carrots
  4. 1 cupchopped celery
  5. 1/4 cupchopped onion
  6. 2 cubesbeef boullion granules
  7. 1 cloveminced garlic
  8. 1/2 tspdried basil
  9. 1/2 tspdried oregano
  10. 1/4 tspblack pepper
  11. 14.5 ozcan stewed tomatoes
  12. 16 ozshell pasta
  13. to tasteParmesan

Cooking Instructions

    Rinse kidney beans with cold water.

    Chop celery, carrots, and onion.

  3. 3

    Combine chicken broth, kidney beans, carrots, celery, onion, boullion, basil, oregano, and pepper into a large sauce pan. Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15 minutes.

    Add in tomatoes, pasta, and garlic. Personally, I like adding in the juices with the tomatoes for extra flavor.

    Return to boil, then reduce heat to low again. Cover, let simmer for 5-10 more minutes. Remove from heat and add in parmesan, then serve.
