Lightly grease the pan and line with parchment paper. Combine and sift the ★. ingredients. Chop up the chocolate finely.

Combine egg yolks and half the granulated sugar in a bowl. Mix with a whisk until white and thick.

Melt butter and chopped up chocolate in a double broiler. Also add the mixture from step 2, then add milk and mix thoroughly.

Make the merengue. Add the rest of the granulated sugar in about 3 batches and whip until it forms stiff peaks.

Fold in the sifted ★. ingredients into the bowl from step 3. Mix well. Also add the merengue in 2 batches and fold in lightly using a rubber spatula.

Pour the batter into the cake pan. Drop it onto your work place. Bake for 45 minutes at 160℃. Test with a bamboo skewer and make sure it comes out clean.
