Chocolate Walnuts Rugelach without oven

Resembling a human brain, they are nourishing, are packed with the goodness of a variety of nutrients and can keep you fit as a fiddle. California Walnuts not only keeps hunger pangs at bay, but they are also a great snack to boost workouts and training sessions. Today I made a very delightful 'Rugelach with walnuts' ....crispy outside, soft & crunchy inside .
Rugelach is a filled pastry. Traditional rugelach are made in the form of a crescent by rolling a triangle of dough around a filling.

Rugelach is a filled pastry. Traditional rugelach are made in the form of a crescent by rolling a triangle of dough around a filling.

Line baking tin with greased parchment paper

Firstly dry roast walnuts for 5 minutes on low flame. Allow it to be cool completely then finely chopped walnuts and keep it aside.

Now for dough, on warm milk bowl add sugar and yeast. Cover bowl with lid and keep aside for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile in flour add butter and salt and mix well.

Now add yeast milk and make a semi - soft dough. Add 2-3 tbsp more milk if needed. Take some dry flour and knead it again for 5 minutes.

Divide dough in 4 equal part and roll it like thin chapati each.

Now take one chapati spread butter evenly on top side and dust some dry flour. Then place second chapati over it.

On the top of second chapati spread chocolate syrup, chopped walnuts and grated chocolate all over evenly. Now place third chapati over it.

On the top of third chapati again spread butter and dust flour. Now place fourth chapati over it.
Cut it in 8 equal parts kike pizza.. - 10
Cut 8 equal rectangular slice from chocolate compound, place it in the outer corner of one slice and roll it gently,

Similar roll all slices and place it in baking tin. Cover and keep it in warm place for 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes brush the top with milk and bake Rugelach in preheated cooker for 30 minutes on low flame and 5 minutes on low - medium flame or until get golden brown colour on top.

Keep out tin from cooker and brush the top of Rugelach with butter. Cover tin with kitchen towel Allow it to be cool for 10-15 minutes.

Sprinkle sugar powder over Rugelach and Enjoy this delightful snacks.
