Spicy Deep Fried Rohu

This is a spicy Fish Fry with a very commonly used Fish in our Country. It is a huge one here that I have used and so are the pieces. And the pieces are absolutely amazing with succulent meat. There is nothing so good as freshly fried Fish. And if it is a Rohu, it's perfectly awesome. In this particular variety, the best part is that it has big bones and therefore becomes much easier to feed children. It just melts in mouth with juicy, succulent meat and is therefore a big hit with my family. And not only that, I make it a point to treat all my friends to this lovely Fish fry on the weekends.

As I have mentioned earlier in all my recipes with Fish that it's overnight marination is mandatory. It's a must for a juicy and succulent Fried Fish. The longer the marination, the better are the results.

Marinate and leave it overnight in the refrigerator well covered using all the ingredients mentioned. Adjust the spices accordingly. You can very well increase or decrease as per your family's preferences.

Next day, deep fry few pieces at a time in hot Oil on a medium high heat. Drain thoroughly. Serve immediately alongside your favourite Curries and a steaming plate of plain boiled Rice. Enjoy!
