Green prawn Pulao
Steps

Soak rice for 1 hour. Boil spinach for 2 minutes. Keep aside. Add salt and turmeric to prawns to marinate. Add 1 tsp oil to pan. Add cloves and cinnamon. Saute for 10 seconds.

Add ginger and garlic. Saute for 1 minute. Keep aside to cool. Make paste of spinach, green chillies, cloves, cinnamon, garlic,ginger, coriander leaves and pudina leaves.

Add rest of oil to pan. Add bay leaves. Add onion and saute for 2 minutes in low flame. Add tomato and salt. Saute until soft. Add prawns. Saute for 2 minutes.

Add spinach mixture. Mix. Add soaked and drained rice,salt, turmeric powder,red chilli powder. Mix well.

Add 5 cups of water and cook in low flame for 15 minutes. In high flame cook for 1 or 2 minutes. Add ghee and mix. Serve hot simply or with raita.
