Soya chunks pulao

Soya bean needs no introduction as there is no other legume which packs more protein than it does. While there are many ways to gorge onto its proteins, the best one is to use soya chunks which are protein rich, easy to cook and has a great taste neutrality which means it can be combined with any food to make it protein rich without affecting its taste. In this soya bean pulao recipe, nutritious soya granules and rice are sautéed with fresh vegetables and spices and then cooked like a normal pulao making it a well balanced meal in itself.

Heat oil into a pressure cooker.

Now saute ginger and chopped onion.

When onion becomes golden brown,futher add chopped tomato. And all above spices.

Furthermore, add green and socked soya wadi and roast for a minute.

And add 3 cup water a become a boil.

At last add socked rice and close the pressure cooker lid.

Turn off the stove after two whistle. And open the pressure cooker after 10 minutes.

Ready soya green peas pulao to serve with raita or curd.
