Pork chops with spice rub

Ingredients

  1. Spice rub
  2. 2 tblolive oil
  3. 4, 1-1/2 inch boneless pork chops
  4. 1 tblapple cider vinegar
  5. 1 cupchicken stock
  6. 2 tblshoney or brown sugar
  7. 1 tblbutter
  8. 2 tblparsley

Cooking Instructions

    Take our of fridge 1/2 hour ahead. Season borh sides with salt pepper let sit 30 min. With paper towel pat dry. Coat chops with rub.

    Oven. Cook pork chops 7 min for each 1/2 inch thick at 400 degrees. Dont overcook. 18 m8n for this size. Or pan sear on stove, see below.

    Use baking dish with not much room, or chops will dry out and liquid will evaporate.

    145 degrees when done, use thermometer

  5. 5

    Pan sear, 2 to 3 minutes until golden. Teduce heat 5o low, cook 6 to 12 min. then Remove chops. Let rest for 5 min.add chicken stock, apple cider vinegar. Honey to skillet. Simmer then reduce by half, add butter and chops.
