Healthy green wadi
This is a healthy version of so called kothimbir wadi that has lots and lots of healthy veggies like spinach, kale, bottle guard, crushed peanuts and gluten free flour that I make at home.
Steps
- 1
Take all the veggies like spinach, kale, bottle guard, and moong in a bowl
- 2
Now add all the spices and mix it together.
- 3
Now add the flour. You replace the gluten free attached with only Besan flour.
- 4
Now add water as required. The batter should not be very runny nor very tight.
- 5
Now take a handful of the batter on your palm and make a roll out of it using both your hands.
- 6
I made 3 rolls. You can make more or less depending on the size of roll.
- 7
Now place them on a well greased dish and steam on high flame for 20-25mins.
- 8
Check the rolls after 20mins by touching the rolls, if the flour doesn't stick to your fingers it means it's ready.
- 9
Now take out the rolls and let them cool and cut them in 1inch thick slices or as per your choice.
- 10
You can relish upon them as it is or make a lip smacking tadka with mustard seeds, red chillies and curry leaves. Choice is yours. But these are super healthy and super super tasty. Don't believe me? Then try yourself.
