Winter is upon us, and we are in a mood to indulge. It is time to bring back the 'winter foods' that have kept us cosy and warm all these years.
I remember in my childhood my mother used to prepare these laddoos during winters and store it in large dabbas. She used to give us these laddoos with milk after coming from school in winters.

These are very basic laddoos with just 3 ingredients. Only ragi (nachani), ghee and jaggery. My addition to the laddoo is cashew nuts, almonds dry coconut and cardamom powder which is totally optional.
A quick simple and easy recipe to store for a month. It tastes excellent. You always have a guilt free naturally sweetened ladoo.

Food is not simply stuff that people eat when they are hungry. Food is awesome, delicious, inventive, colorful, inspiring, and so much more. Food binds us together. You have no idea how much it means to me when you tell me that you made a recipe and loved it. My heart fills with joy. Literally.
