Cooking Instructions
- 1
Heat pan on medium and add oil. Cook ground turkey until cooked through and add onions and garlic.

To make the jalapeno poppers, slice the jalapenos into thin rounds.
- 4
To the flour, add all spices.
- 5
Whisk egg.
- 6
Coat jalapenos in flour mixture, then dip in egg, then the panko crumbs.
- 7
Heat 1/4 cup of oil in a small fry pan and fry each side until golden.
- 8
Suggested serving: Lightly toast burger buns and top the meat with cilantro and jalapeno, and drizzle with ranch dressing.

I made this on trick or treat night , it was perfect as we came and went . I kept it in the crockpot and the kids could just get it when they wanted. You can make this on the stove top, crockpot, or instant pot. I had made it the instant pot but put it in my smaller crockpot on low. I will have to double this recipe next time I make it, that’s how big of a hit it was with my picky eaters kids. 🌈NinjaMommaKitchen🌈 -

The great classic taste but so much healthier than that can of manwhich that you see in the store. Not to mention very customizable. If you like it sweeter, add more brown sugar. If you want it a bit tangy, add a couple of tsp. of apple cider vinegar. Or add some hot sauce for a bit of spice. Christina -

I love sloppy Joes and have always just bought the sauce in a can. I saw a recipe on Chili Pepper Madness for making it from scratch and it turned out great. I always prefer my sloppy Joe over angel hair pasta, but it is traditionally served in a bun. fenway -
