Ingredients

20 minutes
2 servings
  1. 1/2 cupcoarse powder of cornmeal (Makai ka aata)
  2. 2 cupswater
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 2 tbsbutter
  5. 1/4 cupcheese
  6. 2 tbspolive oil
  7. 1 cupGrilled Vegetables (tricolor capsicum, zucchini,baby corn etc)
  8. 1 tspHerbs (optional)

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat water,reduce the heat and gradually add corn meal whisking it constantly for approx 8 to 10 minutes.

    It should be lump free,add butter and cheese and whisk continuously, add salt accordingly...When porridge starts to boil,add olive oil,switch off the flame and let it remain covered for 5 minutes.If polenta becomes too thick then add 1/2 cup of hot water and stir well.

    Garnish it with grilled Vegetables and herbs.
