As a kid I was not a fan of Yakhni ,I was hate the flavour and fragrance of yakhni . But my mother she insists us to have some sip especially in cold weather or in cold flue,
It is really helpful to fight with flue and cold ,
Yakhni saved us as we recovered from the fatigue and exhaustion.
I make yakhni like my mom style ,she made it mostly for pilao and for soups.

All ingredients put in a pan, and cook on medium low flame, cover with lid,let it simmer for 35 minutes

Uncover the pan add some salt and let it simmer again for 5 minutes

Strain the chicken in a strainer and let it cool keep the chicken aside
You can use this chicken in spring rolls or Chinese fried rice or lot of things,and yakhni you can drink or you can refrigerate or freeze as a chicken stock which you can use in other recipes - 4
If you want drink as a soup or yakhni you can shredded the chicken from bones add in yakhni, serve it as a soup
