Give this a try if you're on a serious diet!! The soluble dietary fibers in it will help to cure your constipation too!! It's pretty delicious too.

By coating the konnyaku with katakuriko, the sauce will coat it well (I think).
If you eat this with a knife and fork, it will feel even more like eating a steak.

1Yakiniku sauce
1 tbspVegetable oil
1 dashKatakuriko

Steps

Score one side of the konnyaku with a lattice pattern with small squares about 1.5 cm on each side.

Boil the konnyaku for 3 minutes. Drain into a colander.

Coat the side of the konnyaku that's not scored with katakuriko.

Heat up some vegetable oil in a frying pan, and pan-fry the konnyaku until browned on both sides.

Turn down the heat add the yakiniku sauce to the pan, coat the konnyaku and it's done.
