Ingredients

10-15 minutes including prep
2 servings
  • 1 tbspvegetable oil
  • 20 gbutter
  • 1leek, sliced
  • 1chestnut mushroom, sliced
  • 1 clovegarlic, sliced
  • 2 slicesgranary (or other) bread
  • 100 gStilton cheese, sliced if feasible otherwise crumbled
  • 2 tspcranberry sauce

Steps

10-15 minutes including prep
  1. 1

    Bring the oil and butter to a medium-high heat in a frying pan and fry the leek for 2 minutes, then add the mushroom and garlic and continue frying for a further 4 minutes, occasionally stirring gently, or until the vegetables are softened but not burnt.

    Meanwhile toast the bread.

  3. 3

    Spread the Stilton over the toast and then smear 1 tsp of cranberry sauce on each slice.

    Top with the leek and garlic and enjoy!
