Jam-Packed Cream Buns With Easy Custard Cream Filling

I created this easy recipe so that I can make a lot of cream buns for my daughters, who love them so much.
When you add a small amount of vanilla extract to the cream, it will give a wonderful fragrance.
Please use the cream when it's completely chilled. Recipe by *koro mama *

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put the cake flour, sugar, and milk into a heatproof bowl. Mix and microwave for 1 minute uncovered.
- 2
Mix some more, and microwave for another 2 minutes. Mix in the egg yolks and microwave for 1 minute.
- 3
Wrap the cream with plastic wrap, and let it chill in the fridge.
- 4
Put all the bread ingredients into a bread maker, and start the "bread dough" course.
- 5
When the dough is ready, shape it into a ball and gently press the air out. Divide into 16 portions, and roll into balls.
- 6
Cover with a tightly wrung out kitchen towel, and let them rest for 15 minutes.
- 7
Roll out the dough, and place the cream in the middle.
- 8
Fold the 4 corners to meet in the middle and pinch them together.
- 9
Roll into nice round shapes so that the cream won't come out. Place the seam parts down.
- 10
Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow the dough to rise (2nd rising) in the oven for 30 ~ 40 minutes at 40℃ until they look like this in the picture.
- 11
Brush with the beaten egg, and sprinkle with white sesame seeds.
- 12
Bake in the preheated oven for 18 minutes at 180℃, and then they're done.

My Family's Jam Buns My Family's Jam Buns
I don't like the jam filling coming out from the bread so I tried several times to make jam bread filled with thickened jam, which I learned in my bread class. The explanation of how to shape each bun might be confusing...have a try if you fancy. At Step 7 try not to stretch the dough when folding the dough in half by scraping the dough, using a scraper. At Step 9 when you seal the dough, raise the dough slightly and you can seal the joints tightly. For 6 buns. Recipe by Hiremama cookpad.japan -

Small bean jam pancakes (steamed buns) Small bean jam pancakes (steamed buns)
When I make "Manjyu (Japanese traditional sweet)", I prefer a dough from rice flour and Yam potato to one from plain flour. It's softer and moister. But these ingredients aren't popular out of Japan. It's also little difficult to wrap a bean jam ball with the dough from plain flour (It's better to make it thin because it not so soft or moist). So, I try to think something different. Putting a bean jam ball between 2 small pancakes in stead of wrapping, it is much easier! And I try to use yoghurt and honey to make plain flour buns softer and moister without any oil, butter, eggs.... Yu-Art Kichijoji -
Melon Bread With Custard Cream Filling Melon Bread With Custard Cream Filling
I thought that putting custard inside melon bread would be delicious! So that's what I did. When you are wrapping the custard into the dough, be sure not to roll out the dough too thinly or the custard will come out of the bread when you bake it. Be careful! For 10. Easy Custard Cream Easy Custard Cream
It's so easy!I wanted to make cream puffs filled with various flavors, so I came up with this!If you strain the mixture, it will make it smoother. The custard cream doesn't keep well, so just make what you need. Also, I don't recommend you store this in the refrigerator. The moisture will come out in the refrigerator and change the texture. Recipe by Chisora cookpad.japan -

Basic Custard Cream Basic Custard Cream
Delicious custard cream is essential if you are going to make cream puffs!I add the same amount of heavy cream to this custard cream, and use it when I'm making cream puffs. It will harden when chilled, so don't heat too much. Stop the heat when it has softened a little.Use any kind of liqueur you like. You can easily make custard cream in the microwave, but I think making it in a saucepan gives a smoother and tastier finish. (It will become lumpy if you add it first.) Adjust the cooking time according to your microwave. The finish will vary depending on the type of caramel sauce you use.
