Steps
- 1
Boil the water then to it add the jowari flour, salt and move it quickly with a big spoon. You will see the jowar mixing with the boiled water and lumps being formed. Switch off the gas.
- 2
Cover this immediately and keep it aside for 10 minutes or so..
- 3
Then after 10 minutes remove the cover and knead the jowari atta. See to it that it is kneaded nicely and no cracks are formed.
- 4
Then roll out the jowari rotis with the chakla and rolling pin. Take some dry jowari flour for dusting. Very little flour should be taken for dusting.
- 5
Then take a tawa and heat it. When it gets hot place the rotis on it. And roast both sides add a bit of ghee on top.
