In a bowl, combine the oat bran and milk. Set aside.

In another bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

In a larger bowl, beat the egg with the oil. Add the vanilla, molasses, honey, brown sugar, grated carrots, and cranberries, and mix well.

Add the oat bran mixture and the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, and stir until just combined.

Line muffin tins with paper liners and fill each with about 1 1/2 tablespoons of batter.
